He has been known to be associated with illegal Sand quarrying and has been known to have benefited terribly from that. Recently in the run up before assembly elections, the Election Commission officials retrieved close to 5 crore Rupees from one of the buses owned by KN.Nehru's relatives. KN. Nehru was Transport Minister of the state administration then. He of course conveniently rejected the charges.
