of the Central Hockey League (CHL) as well as the Rio Grande Valley Dorados of the AF2 Indoor Football League.

For three straight seasons, from 2008 to 2010, Bogorad was named the CHL's best broadcaster and in 2007 he was named the league's communications executive of the year. In his first year with the Alaska Aces, he received the 2010-2011 ECHL Broadcaster of the Year award.

While working with the IceRays, Bogorad also served as the host of "Offside with Josh Bogorad," a well-received mid-day call-in sports talk show on ESPN Radio 1230 AM KSIX in Corpus Christi.

Bogorad began his broadcasting career with the NHL’s Los Angeles Kings as the team’s Radio Correspondent on 97.1 FM KLSX. He later attended the University of Arizona, where he served as the broadcaster for the school’s hockey team in 2001. That season, Bogorad was also selected to broadcast the ACHA National Championship tournament.

Personal life

Bogorad currently lives in Anchorage, Alaska with his wife, Andrea. His nephew, Trevor Bogorad, is an aspiring hockey player.
