politician who sat in the House of Commons from 1885 to 1892.

, the son of Joshua Craven and his wife Ann. His father was a wool spinner and manufacturer who established a worsted mill in Thornton in 1831. Craven was a member of Bradford Chamber of Commerce and a Governor of Thornton School and of the Crossley Orphanage.
