The Hall of Famer race horses is called "Kensho-ba (ja:)," and jockeys and trainer are called "Kensho-sha (ja:)" by Japan Racing Association.

Racehorses

The race horses selection is decided by a vote in April, every year. It is voted for by mass communication or newspeople engaged in the horse racing news more than ten years, and it is inducted to Hall of Fame if it get the votes more than three-fourths of the total voter.

Voters can vote to race horses which won Grade 1 race
