and to the three succeeding Congresses (March 4, 1903-March 3, 1911). He was an unsuccessful candidate for reelection in 1910, to the Sixty-second
Congress. He resumed the practice of his profession in Youngstown.
Kennedy became affiliated with the Democratic Party
in 1916. He was an unsuccessful Democratic candidate for election in 1926, to the Seventieth
Congress. He died in Youngstown on November 9, 1928, and was interred in Riverside Cemetery, Poland, Ohio
