. It was first named by Rüppell in 1838, and is commonly known as the Pallid rockskipper. Male Istiblennius unicolor can reach a maximum length of 10.2 centimetres, while females can reach a maximum length of 9.2 centimetres.
It's habbitat is in coral reefs.
