Isla Traquair (born 1980) is a Scottish broadcast journalist, currently working on Five News.
in Aberdeen, Traquair began her career as a newspaper crime and court reporter. At the age of 15 she contributed to a front page story in the Scotland-only edition of The Sun, whilst on a work placement.
She joined Grampian Television (now STV North) in early 2001 as a reporter, presenter and production journalist for North Tonight, Grampian Headlines, Grampian News and North Today.
Traquair was one of the producers of the STV crime series, Unsolved.

Career
Born in Aberdeen, Traquair began her career as a newspaper crime and court reporter. At the age of 15 she contributed to a front page story in the Scotland-only edition of The Sun, whilst on a work placement.
She joined Grampian Television (now STV North) in early 2001 as a reporter, presenter and production journalist for North Tonight, Grampian Headlines, Grampian News and North Today.
Traquair was one of the producers of the STV crime series, Unsolved. She also hosted an update programme at the end of later series.
Traquair left STV for ITV News in November 2006, reportedly after her application for a two-month secondment to ITN had been blocked by her bosses.
Traquair is currently a news correspondent for Five News. She also presents the channel's short news bulletins from time to time, usually on the late evening hours.
In June 2008, Five News announced that Traquair, along with Matt Barbet, will share the presentation of the main 5 and 7pm bulletins during Natasha Kaplinsky's maternity leave.
