"Hot" was one of Avril Lavigne's largest hits in Canada. It debuted at #24 on the Canadian Top 40 Radio Chart and at #87 on the Canadian Hot 100. Hot was the most added song to radio in that week. It has peaked at #10 on the Canadian Hot 100 and #3 on the Canadian Top 40 Radio Chart. It ended as 59th biggest-selling single as of 2007.

In Australia, "Hot" has received high radio airplay and has circulated around the top ten in interactive radio chart shows. It debut at #42 on the ARIA Singles Chart
