Hold Your Horse Is are a three piece rock band originally from Fleet, Hampshire and Frimley, Surrey. The band is made up of Robin Pearson on guitar and vocals, James Penny on bass and Chris Rouse on drums. They formed in 2008, taking their name from the Hella album

 and spent much of 2009/2010 putting out releases and touring the United Kingdom.

On their own label 'Apres Vous'; 'Hold Your Horse Is' self released two EP's: 'Good Hustle' and 'Everyone Runs Faster With a Knife' in November 2008 and June 2009 respectably; followed by the Double B-Side Single 'Lost The Magic/Broken Sound' in September 2009. Their track 'Christopher Walken' received some acclaim; including airplay on Radio 1 by Steve Lamacq
