. The company was founded in 1997 and is a subsidiary of the international construction service provider Hochtief Aktiengesellschaft.

As an airport manager Hochtief AirPort acquires shareholdings in private airports and - working together with the other shareholders - operates these as independent commercial enterprises. HTA not only supports the operational and commercial management of its airport holdings, but also provides services to other airports, e.g. acting as an international transaction manager or drawing up master plans as construction project and sustainability manager.
