Hidden City Entertainment, formerly known as Hidden City Games, Inc., was founded in 2004 by Peter Adkison
and Jesper Myrfors. The company, started in Seattle, Washington
was originally founded for the sole purpose of publishing Clout Fantasy
a game invented by Jesper Myrfors.
Hidden City Entertainment's primary effort is now Bella Sara
, a TCG
for girls 6 to 12 years old, featuring fantasy horses and inspirational messages. Each card has a unique code which when entered on the website unlocks that horse online, to be taken care of like a virtual pet.
In November 2006, Hidden City Entertainment secured $15 million in venture funding from Rustic Canyon Partners and Trinity Ventures, intended to significantly grow the online portion of the business.
