Being offended as Rajputs were never asked to surrender their women, their sword and their horse, he went to Bandu-Nal. The people there were petrified of one Kheechi Gango of Ramgarh (Reelawan) who was troubling the locals. The local population of Meena's made terms with Rao Deva, the lord of Pathar. A fight ensued and Gango Kheechi fled. In an amazing act he crossed river but later appeared on other side. Rao Dev asked who he was and he said Gango Kheechi, hearing this Rao Deva proclaimed he was Deva Hara and that they are brothers and hence should not fight, let the river be our boundary. This was in year 1398 VS (1342 AD) and Deva Hara erected the fortress of Bundi at Bandu ka Nal. His son Samsari ruled there and he had 3 sons.
