Fire Department

Hamilton Township Vol. Fire Department is currently the only working fire department in the township. There are 30+ firefighters that work all for the same cause that is to preserve life and property in the township. The department currently operates 9 trucks ranging from medical and utility trucks all the way to specialised pumpers and tankers. On Sept. 12th 2009 the department hosted its yearly hog roast fund raiser for the community to raise funds that help operate the fire department all year long. This year there was 32 whole hogs cooked and over 3,000 people served. Also in the spring time every year the department fills pools and hot tubs in the township. Prices on pool fills vary by size so please call for pricing and to schedule an appointment to have your pool filled.
