, is a French Catholic Discalced Carmelite religious. He is an international authority on the life and writings of Thérèse of Lisieux.

He was ordained a priest on the 17 March 1963 and made his religious profession into the order of Discalced Carmelites on 3 October 1968. He was named Bishop of Meaux

A few months later, 7 May 1987, he was named auxiliary bishop of Bayeux-Lisieux in residence at Lisieux

. He remained in this post until the 1 July 2005 at which time he retired having reached the age limit.
