who was, in the series, an alien being who left clues for the hero of the series on how to defeat this invasion which humanity was unaware of.

They were known to have been a once peaceful species until they were invaded and enslaved by another hostile species. They defeated their oppressor and named themselves 'Gua' which means the power to overcome. They took an aggressive expansionist policy after this time, despite objections from certain members of their own population.

Their true alien form is not known as they transferred their minds into metallic orbs to the planet Earth through a wormhole that connected their homeworld to the target planet. These minds would then be transferred into new human bioengineered cloned husks. These husks contained a small amount of Gua DNA

During the infiltration, they conducted a large range of experiments on humans to better understand their enemy. It was noted in the series that there were 1800 experiments being conducted at the time of the First Wave. They also faced resistance in the form of a small number of humans, such as the Raven Nation.

Despite their infiltration of 40% of the world population, they had noted certain problems arise among their kind in the last 40 years. One of which is the inexperience in adjusting to the range of human emotions and experiences. Another noted problem is an addiction to salt

They were divided into three classes; the Acolyte warriors, the Osmosist spies and the scientific Empiricists.

Noted characters are the philosopher known as Medek, the evil ruler of the Gua Head Assembly Mabus and the rebel Joshua.
