It was dissolved in 1803 in the secularisation of Bavaria

The premises came into the possession of the Counts of Löwenstein-Wertheim-Freudenberg, who in 1820 converted them into a country house. All that remains of the monastic structures is the prior's lodging, now used for guests, the ruins of the church and the perimeter wall.
