Biography

Grooving in Green were formed in 2008 in Hastings England, featuring ex-members of Children on Stun and Solemn Novena. Following on from Children on Stun, the name is also taken from The March Violets

 album Botanic Verses.

They describe their sound as "Groove Goth", their music features influences from many styles, Goth, Rock and industrial being the main ones. Having formed the band, they have quickly gelled, and have enjoyed a great deal of success in a short space of time.

Their second single "Dirt" has now been released and is also being well received, already receiving positive reviews from 'Nocturnal Magazine', amongst others.

 singing their classic hit "Grooving In Green", the song that gave the band its name. This was greatly received, the band have continued steadily growing in popularity.

Their debut album Post Traumatic Stress was released in 2010 and was recorded and mixed by Steven Carey (ex-Burning Effigy and currently The Eden House and Adoration

This was released to critical acclaim and has been reviewed in several publications including Gothic Magazine Germany, Dark Entries Magazine Belgium, "what you get in print is a CD of pure gothic rock like you haven’t felt in years" Ascension Magazine Italy Static Magazin Germany.

In 2011 following further successful gigs, including Helldorado Festival, Trondheim, Grooving In Green have now been signed by Glory & Honour Records.
