Catholic Church


Adoration in the Catholic Church takes a few forms. One is the simple adoration of God Himself, but also takes the form of Eucharistic Adoration. The Catholic faith in Transubstantiation (the Wine and Bread literally becoming the Body and Blood of Jesus Christ at Mass) leads to the worship of said Bread (in the form of a Host.) The Host is usually placed in a Monstrance
