Grace Wahu was the first wife of Jomo Kenyatta

. Records indicate that Wahu married Kenyatta, then known as Johnstone Kamau, around 1918 or 1919. She had two children with Jomo Kenyatta: Peter Muigai Kenyatta (1920) and Margaret Wambui (1928). Grace Wahu died in April 2007 at the age of around 100.
