Political career

In March 2009, Gobind was suspended from the Dewan Rakyat for calling Najib Razak a murderer. The High Court upheld Gobind's suspension in a ruling made in October 2009, although he was given remuneration for his MP's pay, which was also previously suspended when the Speaker enforced the suspension order.
