 and is a feeder club for the Ospreys. The club fields a senior team which plays in the WRU leagues, and also fields a second XV, youth and junior teams. The club was created in 2007 by local millionaire businessman Jeffrey Ball. He reportedly sold his driving school business for an estimated £3,000,000 & said it was his lifelong dream to start his own rugby empire. In February 2009 his dream was realised when the Welsh Rugby Union accepted their bid to be part of the league system and given a place in the unions division 3 south west league. Their first match was a 70-3 defeat to local rivals Glynneath.
