region. The company advertises properties for sale through more than 200 firms of solicitors in the region who act as estate agents (realtors) as well as lawyers. It is by far the largest property marketing organisation in its area and its member firms sold over 12,500 homes worth around £1.3 billion in 2006/07. It publishes a free fortnightly newspaper and operates a website, both of which show all of the properties for sale through its member firms. GSPC also runs a showroom in Glasgow city centre.
The GSPC is one of a number of similar solicitor-led property societies across Scotland, the Scottish Solicitors Property Centres (SSPC).
