. Makropoulos was also the editor of The Wrestling Chatterbox, a monthly newsletter. She also worked on several wrestling websites.

Makropoulos saw her first wrestling event in 1959. She remained a life-long fan and continued to research and write about wrestling until her death in 2010. She died on January 25, 2010 of a heart attack.
