." He takes inspiration from American caricature, European history portraits as well as Greek mythological figures, often in a dark yet humorous style.
In 2011, The New Museum in New York City opened a mid-career retrospective of Condo's work titled Mental States. The show traveled to Museum Boijmans Van Beuningen

and The Hayward Gallery
in London and will go on to the Schirn Kunsthalle in Frankfurt.
He currently lives and works in New York City
