's. Freeway Airport is privately owned by Freeway Airport Inc., but is open to the general public. The airfield is staffed everyday of the year, from 8 am until dusk, except on major holidays. The airport is located at latitude: 38-56-28.8670N and longitude: 076-46-20.5790W, at an elevation of 168 feet above sea level, covering 100 acres. The airport has 75 aircraft currently based at its facilities, as well as one ultra-light. The facilities include a lighted wind indicator, airframe services, powerplant services, and fuel available, but there is no control tower present on the airfield. The airfield consists of two runways, both measuring 2,420 feet in length, constructed of asphalt, which are in good condition.
