Selection process

On 6 December, Bruno Berberes, the Head of Delegation for France for the tenth time, confirmed the French participation in the Eurovision Song Contest 2011 to eurovision-fr.net.

The choice of the artist is internal, just like in the three past years. The French public broadcasting corporation is still interested in carrying out an open and televised Eurovision selection for the 2012 Contest. A national final in 2011 was also rumoured.
