There is no minimum rider height requirement for Flying Eagles. However, the rider must be accompanied by a responsible person if the rider less than 48 inches tall. Flying Eagles is considered a mild thrill ride, and has a thrill rating of 2 out of 5 on the Kings Dominion ride rating system.

Cable snapping

A skilled rider can "snap" the cables suspending the vehicle. Snapping is caused by the cables slacking due to quick motions of the vehicle. Snapping is made easier on a faster Flying Eagles ride. Snapping is sometimes discouraged due to maintenance and safety reasons.
