At peak times, around 8:30am and 4:30pm, the station is much busier than usual, when students from the two local colleges and the local school use the station for their travel to and from education. In the mornings there is usually a substantial queue to cross over the level crossing, trailing the entire platform.

Services

Farnborough North is served by trains approximately every 60 minutes in each direction Monday to Saturday, and every two hours on Sundays. There are additional trains during peak periods on weekdays. The majority of trains operate between Reading and Redhill, with a few trains each day continuing to Gatwick Airport
