, in order to promote European leadership through conferences, workshops, round table discussions, and research.

The ELC's vision is to:

- Create a forum for European business and government leaders

- Promote leadership excellence among European leaders

- Enhance the synergy between the public and private sector in Europe

The ELC has three main objectives:

- to promote knowledge of leadership in Europe via applied research and networks

- to organizes conferences, seminars, and workshops to develop leadership capabilitites and share ideas of this subject with the world

- to set up focused roundtable discussions for distinguished leaders on specific themes.

The network of ELC conference participants

Close to 200 business, government, NGO and media leaders from 22 countries (Albania, Austria, Belgium, BiH, Croatia, Check Republic, Finland, France, Germany, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Macedonia, the Netherlands, Poland, Russia, Serbia, Slovakia, Slovenia, Turkey, UK and the USA) have participated in the ELC conferences since 2003.
