Eulonia and nearby hamlets of Crescent and Shellman Bluff are home to The Buccaneer Club, Sapelo Station, Hunter's Cafe (restaurants), site of River Oak's Condos, Pleasure Point, and Stonefield neighborhoods. Also at Shellman Bluff there are several marina's which include Fisherman's Lodge and Shellman Bluff Marina. The Shellman Bluff area is the larger attraction of McIntosh Co., with many residents being "weekend warriors" and is the home of the Sapelo Saltwater Fishing Club, and the annual Sapelo Open Kingfish Tournament. The Sapelo River runs through Eulonia and has its source just inland of US HWY 17. Between Eulonia and Darien on HWY99 lies Meridian, Georgia, site of the embarkation point for the ferry to Sapelo Island

Local celebrations include the Annual St. Patrick's Day Parade at Shellman Bluff, Sapelo Open Kingfish Tournament (held at Shellman Bluff) and the Jack's Bluff Yacht Club Annual Fishing Tournament (amateurs only).
