Dress Code

Girls are required to wear American Casual shorts as part of the uniform. These shorts have an ER (standing for El Rancho) on the bottom left leg so that the shorts can't be tailored or hemmed in any way. This new uniform code was brought on due to the previous year's students' shorts being inappropriate (too short). Uniform shirts colors come in Grey, Green, and Burgundy. Only El Rancho shirts and shorts are allowed. School colors are green and white as are the colors of the P.E. uniform.

Sports

El Rancho has an after school sports program, available to any student who wishes to participate. The sports alternate from year to year, but usually include track and field, basketball, soccer, and flag football. The teams are coached by the P.E. teachers, and periodically compete against other schools in the district.
