History

El Dorado High School opened in July 2003, and El Dorado's first senior class graduated in May 2007.

Academics

El Dorado High School will promote for all of its students the development of academic, career, and personal / social growth through a partnership with teachers, parents, and the community.

The school offers the International Baccalaurate Program. Lizett Shaw is the current IB coordinator. El Dorado also offers the AVID program, along with AP Courses, dual credit, and other challenging programs, hoping to promote the student as a whole individual capable of achievement across the different academic courses.
