Eduardo Jesús Vargas Rojas (born November 20, 1989 in Santiago, Chile
) is a chilean
footballer. He currently plays for Universidad de Chile as forward.

He participated in Cobreloa B, third Division team, scoring with the team, against Universidad Arturo Prat
on August 7 of 2006, after he scored another goal against San Marcos de Arica on August 28, 2006.
On 8 January 2010, Club Universidad de Chile signed the winger from Cobreloa
for around $700.000.
The high performance that Vargas has shown in the Chilean Championship
and the 2011 Copa Sudamericana
has caused that many important football clubs are interested in him. Some of these football clubs are most notably Internazionale with manager Claudio Ranieri
