A full-bodied smoke, the filler and binder are Nicaraguan tobaccos and the wrapper is the Nicaraguan Habano.
The band has gold printing on a red background.

This line is often erroneously called "maduro" by various dealers.

601 Box-pressed Maduro

Released in late March 2007, this is the first box-pressed cigar and the first maduro ever made by Pepin Garcia. It is a full-bodied smoke, the filler and binder are aged Nicaraguan tobaccos and the wrapper is Nicaraguan Maduro. The band has gold printing on a blue background.

601 Habano Oscuro

Released in August 2007, this is the strongest of the 601 series. The filler and binder use Nicaraguan leaf and the wrapper is Nicaraguan Habano Oscuro. The band has a green background with gold printing, similar to the others in this series. This extension consists of five vitolas and they come in 20 count boxes, except for the Corona, which is packed in 40 ct. boxes.
