Through its teaching and research facilities, the 107,000-square-foot building enhances the Mechanical Engineering undergraduate design sequence. The first floor of the building is the home of the world-renowned Center for Precision Metrology.
Other laboratories include computational modeling and orthopedic bioengineering. The offices of the Dean of the Lee College of Engineering are also located in Duke Hall. The 107,000-square-foot building contains state-of-the art classrooms,
lecture halls, laboratories, machine shops, computer labs, and computational and modeling facilities. Adjacent to Duke Hall, is the 5,000 square-foot Motorsports labs, which now houses the newly constructed water tunnel - ranked 5th in the nation.

Department of Mechanical Engineering and Engineering Science
