DotConnectAfrica is a non-profit, non-partisan organisation that was founded in 2006 and incorporated in Mauritius to sponsor, establish and operate the proposed new Top Level Domain(TLD).africa
, a Sponsored top-level domain that will cater for the needs of the African and Pan-African community and also to address the lack of adequate internet policy in Africa.
DotConnectAfrica has its headquarters in I/F River Court 6th Denis Street Port Louis, Mauritius. DCA is well represented in Nairobi

The organization also intends to apply for the delegation of .afrique,the French version of .Africa and .afriqya ,the Arabic version of .Africa.

models. Public Policy considerations will also include direct input from African policy makers, including the African Union, Economic Commission for Africa and African Development Bank
