Whiteman was then criticised by Dr. Imran Waheed who published an open letter to the Director of the BBC, challenging VIGIL's credibility, transparency and independence. As of yet, neither Whiteman or VIGIL have been able to substantiate their claims against Hizb ut Tahrir.
