. The school opened in 1939. The students wear green uniform. For both, they either wear a white polo shirt or a white sleeved/short sleeved shirt. The girls would use either a green V-necked cardigan/jumper with a green stripy tie (only if using a white sleeved shirt), a green skirt with black tights/socks or black trousers and school shoes. The boys would use a green V-necked jumper with a stripy tie (only if wearing a white sleeved shirt), black trousers and school shoes. The headteacher is Mr Dowland, and the deputy is Mr Preston. Dollis Junior School has a highly successful music department which features the Dollis Deep Pans - an excellent steelband taught by Rachel Hayward which has won awards at the National Festival of Music For Youth, toured Slovenia
