Keypoint is widely used by pastors and church worship leaders throughout the world. The current version of Keypoint is 3.5 for Windows.

History

Keypoint was initially developed in the spring of 2005 by a Pastor in Northern California

, USA. It was initially called "The Visual Slide Design Studio".

In 2006, the application was purchased by Digitalsoft and became much more than just a pastor's tool. Digitalsoft (whose background is in writing custom applications) took Keypoint in the to realm of the church worship presentation.

Operation

Keypoint presentations consist of a number of individual pages or "slides". The slide analogy is a reference to the slide projector

, a device that has become obsolete due to the use of Microsoft PowerPoint

The presentation can be printed, displayed on a computer, or navigated through at the command of the presenter. For larger audiences the computer display is often projected using a video projector

Presentations can be saved and run in any of the file format
