in January 2006, at nearly 31 years of age. He made 15 league appearances for his new team, adding three appearances in the season's UEFA Cup, scoring against Slavia Prague in the round-of-32 (2–2 aggregate win).
Godeas joined A.C. ChievoVerona
in the 2006 summer, as part of the transfer deal involving Brazil
