Degloor Gaon or old Degloor is the area which was guarded by the Veshicha Maruti in olden days. It is now the central place. In olden days, the Degloor Gaon or town was lined by Veshicha maruti, pocham bes, gollewaar galli, udgir road and nanded hydrabad highway.
The population that grew beyond veshicha maruti in 1900, was the outcasted people in those days who preferred to stay on outskirts of gaon. So all bara balutedaars excepts rich jamindaars and seths were outside the degloor gaon. This area beyond degloor gaon is the current central township of degloor, which has all its schools, post office, and other government offices.
for almost 30 years after independence, there was no area called new degloor, which developed on the outskirts, on the south and eastern aspects of udgir road and the national highway. First thing was the MSEB 32 KV station and then the degloor college degloor Adat Vyapari Education Society . Then followed the various newer colonies that became the integral part of degloor.
during the same years, Zillha Parishad school, Maanvya vikas school and Arya Samaj also developed by Poshattidada Ungratwar long with two cinema halls mainly Venkatesh talkies and later dinshaw talkies (that is now almost collapsed state) and then the Pirozdin talkies.

Mondha and agricultural produce market comitteee (APMC) or krishi utpanna bajaar samiti developed as a part of major projects of the nagar parishad degloor, the collectors office and the degloor tahsil.

Degloor court, police station and the jail are of the same era. Also the oldesr bus stand later replaced by old post office, gandhi chowk, the old bus stand. all seem to be developed in same decade. New bus stand was developed only in last decade. there is also a shivaji park garden
Over last 20 years degloor has seen its advancement from kaularu or tubetop roof row houses to cement concrete RCC, multistory buildings in most areas.
