. While with the Knights, he was third in team scoring with 21 goals and 48 points. As the team's leading scoring rookie, Moss also led the Knights with 16 powerplay goals which was tied for third in the league. A late season injury prevented him from playing the entire season.
On December 19, 2006, Moss was recalled by the Calgary Flames
, and on that same day scored the game winning goal on his National Hockey League
debut against the Los Angeles Kings
. He followed this with two more goals in his next two games, both against the Vancouver Canucks

Before suffering a shoulder injury, he was also showing promise at supporting the Flames' top scorers.
