Professional career

Banks began his professional career in 2005, and lost to Peter Manfredo Jr in June 2007. He was devastatingly knocked out by Edison Pantera Miranda in January 2008. Joe Tessitore compared the straight right that sent Banks through the ropes to a shotgun being fired off.

The Contender

Banks was one of the boxers featured on the 3rd season of the boxing reality TV series, The Contender, The Contender (season 3), on ESPN
