He returned to the first team at Halifax in March 2008 after the loan spell. He signed with Crawley Town
in May 2008. He spent two seasons at the club but left for Barrow
on 28 June 2010. Forrest joined Guiseley
on loan in January 2011. He returned to Barrow for the rest of the season, helping them to avoid relegation. He was nonetheless released by Barrow in May 2011, before signing for Guiseley
on a permmanent contract.
