. David Webb, a journalist at the Dallas Voice, said in response that the offices of the Dallas Voice had been located there for 24 years. Webb contacted the author of the article, David Flick. Flick said that the area with the Dallas Voice offices is considered to be Uptown and not Oak Lawn. Michael Milliken, the president of the Oak Lawn committee, says that Uptown is a part of Oak Lawn. The newspaper offices are not within the Uptown Public Improvement District boundaries.
