referred to Griffin as 'Mott The Nipple').
Buffin also produced some early tracks for Nirvana
that appeared on their Incesticide
collection. He also produced a John Peel Session for Carcass
in 1989.
In January 2009 it was confirmed that Griffin and the other original members of Mott the Hoople would reform for three 40th anniversary reunion concerts in October 2009.
The reunion was eventually extended to five shows. However, after reportedly being diagnosed with Alzheimer’s disease, Buffin only performed during the encores.
