held annually at the end of April. Congaline village is the heart and soul of the carnival, providing a daily exhibition forum, and marketplace for a myriad of free entertainment. It is often referred to as the 'World's Greatest Street Party' and culminates in a one day t-shirt band parade. The emphasis on the carnival is the music, and includes many local musicians.
