 and has campaigned actively to promote the language.

Clì organises classes and conversation days throughout Scotland, including the annual learners gathering Tional, and produces materials for learners, including the quarterly magazine called Cothrom, which means "a chance" or "a group of people".

Clì is often mentioned with regard to lobbying etc. in the news (e.g. http://www.bbc.co.uk/scotland/alba/naidheachdan/story/2008/11/081105_cli.shtml - in Gaelic) and are represented at the Scottish Parliament cross party group on Gaelic (http://www.scottish.parliament.uk/msp/crossPartyGroups/groups/gaelic-docs/Minutes260907.pdf).

Recently Clì partner with two language teachers to form Deiseil Ltd., the company which administers the Ùlpan
