For decades, CGF has successfully opposed development of the foothills, forests, and coasts of the San Francisco Peninsula

CGF is funded primarily by individual private donations.
The organization aims to protect: creeks, coasts, wetlands, open space, farmlands, and natural resources of San Mateo and Santa Clara counties through advocacy, education and grassroots action.
