is patchy and relatively uncommon. Active during the day. Distinct head, elongated snout, keeled ventral scales; dark brown dorsal side with transverse arrangement of light and dark variegations. Pale brown/cream underside with spiny tubercles on body sides. Males have 2-4 and 3-6 preanal and femoral pores respectively.
